A self-adhesive film to protect birds against bird strikes on windows. The transparent window film has an optical reflective, irregular pattern. These patterns act on the animals like spots of grey colour which interrupt the light reflection on the pane.
The bird takes these full-surface patterns from a distance as an obstacle and turns away from the glass facade during the approach. According to a study, optical sensors in birds are responsible for this. People cannot see in the UV range.
The films can easily be applied to all windows. The protection against bird strike and thus the protection of your windows against splintering is immediately effective. The detailed installation instructions can be found below as a link. An integrated UV400 filter also retains all UV radiation and thus delays the introduction of heat in summer.
The film also prevents premature ageing of the furniture and counteracts yellowing, especially on sensitive wood surfaces.
